I haven't updated this page in quite some time now. We are focused on the www.survive2thrive.net site and we do 2 shows per week there also.Coming up we have quite a few great shows lined up. There is so much to talk about now. We interviewed Woody Tasch, author of Slow Money on the Survive2thrive.net network and that was an interview to hear 2 times! We are in a very bad situation in our economy and Woody had some ideas of what we can create perhaps once the current situation has expired...and we think it is breathing it's last gasps as we speak!

Arnie and I focused mainly on the immune system, how to strengthen it through proper diet and use of various herbs and whole food supplements and what to do if you do get some illness. Others more competent than I can deal with that issue. We do have knowledge to share with you about how to prevent getting the flu and shortening the duration and hopefully intensity of it if you do happen to get it!
Highest risk areas are now: NY, TX, CA. Be sure to avoid crowds and if you have to go do some of the things we suggest to boost your immune system.
Last week our Guest Giorgio Repeti, Licensed Acupuncturist in Manhattan, had great things to say about awareness and activism to right the wrongs in our current system. He also had a great Chinese formula for preventing and dealing with this flu:
10 gms Cinammon Branch (or 3 to 5 gms of Cinammon Bark)
10 gms Ginger Root
3-5 gms Licorice Root
3-5 Black (or red if black not available) Chinese Dates
10 gms Peony Root
Combine all ingredients in 3-4 cups of water bring to a boil and reduce heat to low and simmer until reduced to 1 cup. Strain and drink. You can get most of these herbs from www.herbalsinc.com Tell Arnie who sent you!
He recommends that folks in areas where this flu is spreading do this every day!
Darren has a formula that we will put up later today that is a great preventive and can be used even while sick. Equal parts of garlic, habanero, onion, horseradish root and ginger
root. Chop up into small pieces, place in a strong blender, add enough
raw apple cider vinegar to cover the chopped ingredients completely and
blend well.
Store in the fridge, shake regularly and after a
minimum of one month strain off the chopped ingredients and store your
flu buster in the fridge. Use a dropper every hour when you feel
anything coming on or when you have a flu.

Darren is from the UK and was trained at an early age by his grandfather, an accomplished herbalist, in the pharmacology of herbs. After moving with his parents to the U.S. he took up the study of Yoga, eventually becoming certified as an instructor. During this time he also became certified in several energetic healing modalities - walked on fire, with no adverse affects - became an ordained minister, a certified massage therapist and now teaches herbal classes and heals through his practice in San Antonio, TX.
