The Royal Berkey Camping® Water Purifier is the mid-sized Berkey® system that is suitable for Disaster and Emergency drinking water production, at home with large families, churches or civic groups and on the road in your RV, cabin or while you camp hunt or fish.

The Royal Berkey Camping® Water Purifier comes with the new Black Berkey® purifying elements and functions at an incredible rate of efficiency at 4 gallons per hour.
The Royal Berkey® comes equipped with two Black Berkey® purifying elements and can accept a maximum of four elements. The lower storage tank capacity is 3.25 gallons. Flow rate is 4 gallons per hour with two elements.
This also includes two patented Black Berkey® purification elements along with the option of purchasing with additional elements. (sold in packages of two.
) Thecombination of four filters means you can filter more water faster - not that it makes the water cleaner. Four filters can be useful for Emergency water treatment where you need lots of clean drinking water - fast.

When Berkey filtered water was incubated and viewed under an electron microscope in lab tests, nothing was present but pure H2O. Other contaminants reduced to below-detectable-limits include Trihalomethanes, Radon 222, and volatile organic compounds including Benzene, 2,4-D, Heptachlor, MTBE, Styrene, Tetrachloroethylene and Toulene, among many others.
