Hops Strobile, the plant that gives beer its distinctive, bitter taste, has been used therapeutically for centuries. It was first used in beer brewing about 1,000 years ago, when brewers realized that hops could preserve the ale. Hops only became common in British beer in the 17th century; before that, British ales were much sweeter and less bitter, but could not be preserved very long. Our hops extract promotes a calm mind and healthy sleep. We receive this herb dry and activate the many beneficial properties within the plant through our extraction process.
