Wild Yam is known primarily as a women's herb, helpful for supporting healthy menstruation and menopause. This root also supports healthy cholesterol management. Wild yam is sometimes called Devil's-bones, which could be because of its thin, creeping, bone-like roots. This skeletal plant may help support hormone balance for women, and it also promotes healthy cholesterol management.

We source our wild yam from here in the United States, but it has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years. We receive this herb dry and activate the many beneficial properties within the plant through our extraction process.
