The garden herb BORAGE (Borago officinalis), as an herbal tincture, can be used to strengthen and restore adrenal function, especially after steroid treatment. This herbal remedy acts as a diuretic, is soothing to the GI tract and mucous membranes and lowers fever.

Ancient Celtic warriors drank wine flavored with Borage to give them courage in battle. Romans and Greeks considered Borage an anti-depressant. The leaves and seeds stimulate milk flow in nursing mothers.
