JUJUBE FRUIT (Ziziphus zizyphus) has a very high vitamin C content. It is used in Chinese medicine to enrich the blood, increase digestion and appetite, increase energy, and to treat anemia, diarrhea, restlessness and insomnia.


Jujube fruits are used to make cough drops. The jujube originated in China where they have been cultivated for more than 4,000 years and where there are over 400 cultivars.
