In today's episode, Darren Craddock discusses the benefits of lemons. Lemons are a great food for keeping you healthy. You can even grow lemon trees outdoors in much of the south or grow them in a pot and bring them in during cold spells. Lemons can help you in the fight against allergies with their high levels or antioxidant rich compounds such as biofavinoids. Lemons also have antimicrobial effects because of their high amounts of citric and ascorbic acids, which are antagonists to microbes.
